Blisworth Tapestry Charity
The Blisworth Tapestry Project began in 2006 and was completed in 2010. The centrepiece, based on artwork by a local artist, showing modern day life in Blisworth village, is now complete and hangs alongside six further works of art also by local artists. These depict scenes from the village archives in a timeline from Roman times to present day. They can all be viewed at: Blisworth Baptist Chapel, Chapel Lane, Blisworth, Northampton, NN7 3BU, Every Tuesday between 9.30am and 12pm, (During Coffee House Hours). Other times can be arranged.
The Blisworth Tapestry Project cost approx. £6,000 to produce and was funded by Northampton Community Foundation, and the Blisworth Community also raised additional funds to support the project. Lighting & DVD was funded by Northampton County Council.
