Casual Vacancy – Notice to Electors

We have received and accepted the resignation of June Hawkins, who has chosen to step down from her role. This was a thoughtful and considered decision, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for the time, commitment, and support she has given to the community. Her contribution has been genuinely appreciated.

Under the relevant regulations, any ten electors from the ward may request that an election be held to fill this vacancy. If such a request is submitted to the Proper Officer within the statutory period an election will be arranged.

If no election is requested, the Parish Council will be able to fill the vacancy by co‑option.
