Dog Waste Bin Collections – Possible Delays
Please take your dog waste home if the dog-waste bins are full.
Published: 17 March 2026
Our dog‑waste collection contractor has informed us that a major fire broke out at one of their waste sites. Until the Emergency Services confirm the site is safe, they are unable to dispose of collected waste. As a result, dog‑waste bin collections in the village may be delayed this week.
The contractor is working to secure alternative disposal arrangements as quickly as possible.
Dog waste can continue to be disposed of in any designated dog‑waste bin or in your black general waste bin at home, provided it is securely bagged.
Please do not leave dog waste beside full bins or on the ground.
West Northamptonshire Council has been informed of the situation.
West Northamptonshire Council may issue fixed penalty notices for littering or failing to pick up after a dog, and enforcement officers do act where offences are identified. Your cooperation helps keep public spaces safe, clean, and pleasant for everyone.
